Cool Japanese commercial for the hot new PSP 2000.

As you’ll see, they are promoting it heavily being so lite.

I think this is gonna be a hit. And I can’t wait to get one.

I wanna see how it can handle all my psp game downloads. Although it will be time before someone comes up with firmware.

If you liked Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, then you’re gonna love this too.

I found this link on another PSP site. Anywho, I thought I’d post it here. (Sorry, but I can’t claim this)

The game’s set in 2014, where the soldiers of the future return to encounter a new and more imminent threat. The Ghosts only have 72 hours to stop rebels from reaching US soil.

And because it’s such a difficult job, (in other words, Rambo was fighting elsewhere), this job is for the Ghosts.

Awesome game.

If you like this game, then you wanna check out PSP Blender as well. Awesome games for the cost of one.

PSP Go’s Video

So here’s the PSP 200o. Or PSP Slim, I like to call it.

And the cool thing about the new PSP is this.

If you’re in the UK, Sony has done a deal with BT which will allow you to video IM with friends on a broadband connection. And it’s all free too.

You see, you’ll be able to instant messageyour friends using an on-screen keyboard, voice chat via a headset, and video chat with the addition of the Go!Cam.

This is freakin’ unbelievable.

Lets hope Sony USA can do a deal with a carrier.

Anyway, for more psp game downloads new, make sure you bookmark our site.

PSP GPS

How cool is this. You see, its’ the new PSP with amazing GPS.

And you know what they call it?

The GPS Receiver.

What I like about the PSP GPS Receiver is that you can tell you everything you want to know. Like where a restaurant is. How to get from one place to another.

But the best is this.

You can take 3D fly throughs.

The PSP GPS Receiver goes on sale in Japan on Thursday. Let’s hope it comes here soon.

You will probably be using your Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) to play all your beloved video games until you are blue in face or bleary in the eyes. It may be used as another avenue to see your favourite music videos. You may even be savvy enough to use it to watch that must see television series that you have recorded to watch during your busy schedule. However, after learning all that, have you also mastered the ability to surf the internet on your Playstation Portable? Did not think so, here is why you should start.

The PSP browser capabilities are not going to be nowhere near as powerful and simple to use as the browsers on your home PC, such as Explorer and Firefox. It will however have no problem in putting your cell phone browser to absolute shame. The PSP browser is truly intended to be a full feature application, meaning that is should show most web pages as they are intended to be seen on your PC, but depending on the coding of the website some may not translate as well and you may need to tinker with these sites.

For anyone that has wireless internet accessibility in their house, will most likely be using a wireless standard of 802.11b or 802.11g, the Sony Playstation Portable utilises the 802.11b to gain access. The console is already preconfigured for this type of use, so all you need to do is enter the network connections of your wireless router. Now you will need to understand the other issues that will get your PSP online.

You may be wondering how you actually use this tiny browser inside your Playstation Portable. Not everyone will understand the finer points of the PSP, so a little tutorial in understanding the internet browser capabilities may be useful. Grab your little piece of electronic heaven in your hands and follow along to learn how to get more from your PSP.

When your first turn on your Playstation Portable you should see a Network logo, in addition to the usual Game, Video, and Music and Photo options. After clicking on the Network option, the PSP automatically boots into the web browser.

The way to enter a website address into your Playstation Portables browser is rather similar to using the keypad on you cellular phone. For instance, the number 3 on your phone corresponds to the letters DEF while one button on your PSP grid will have DEF3. Continue to click until you move down the line of letters and reach the one that your want to use.

The Main buttons to use for navigating a web page are the D-pad and the Square button. The D-pad is used to hover over the page until you find the link your after and the Square button to scroll up and down the page. The Playstation Portable is actually user friendly in that it is not quick to scroll too far since that is a difficult thing to manage at times.

With an option to open up to three separate browser windows at any one time, which can be controlled using the tabs at the top of your browser that allows you to toggle back and forth, enhancing the ease of use of the PSP browser itself. This allow for an easy use of the browser to open different topics at once.

The amazing benefits that the browser and its WiFi capability adds to the Playstation Portable are for those that are looking for an all-in-one entertainment centre for road trips. With the excellent video gaming and viewing capabilities you can entertain yourself for only so long, but with the addition of the internet to log on to in a WiFi friendly hotel, your PSP will offer a totally different entertainment experience.

There are obviously small tricks of the trade that you can learn to make this process a lot quicker and more efficient, but these few tips will help you on your way to mastering your PSP web browser. Take advantage of every use that your PSP offers and use it to the fullest.

So now you have a PlayStation Portable, but aren’t sure what games are worth your money? I was in the same boat at first, but I’ve narrowed down the top 5 PSP puzzle games that ARE worth your money.

5. Me and My Katamari. Despite the general wierdness of the Katamari Damacy series, Me and My Katamari is just plain fun. The controls are a bit difficult to get use to at first, and the gameplay is very repetitive (what puzzle game isn’t?), but your fingers with play to the tune of Katamari after a couple hours on this game.

4. WTF. A very simple game comparible to Wario Ware. You start out with four different mini games, beat them endlessly, and unlock endless new games. Why is it so fun, because its mindless and easy, it has a twisted mundane sort of humor and there isn’t another game like it on the PSP.

3. Exit: What can I say, its freaking awesome and it has levels you can download too. I’m more towards the puzzle games beecause my girlfriend can play too. This one was challenging and fun.

2. Lumines. A launch game, luckily it didn’t launch with the PSP or I would not have bought any game. If you have a PSP and don’t have this game, then you owe it to yourself to get the best game for the PSP. Virtually flawless.

1. Lumines II. If the first Lumines made the list, the second one had to also. There is no way about it, Lumines is the best puzzle experience the PSP has to offer. I would go as far as to say that it is one of the best puzzle games ever EVER.

It would be nice to customize your Sony PSP screen just as you would a Windows desktop, wouldn’t it? Well, actually you can, if you’re willing to use an unlicensed homebrew application on your PSP. I know, you have probably heard of some homebrew apps that “brick” the PSP. Believe me, those are not just scary stories, they have actually happened to some unfortunate and inexperienced users. However, the free application you can use to load themes on your PSP is apparently safe, although it is always good to exercise great caution when dealing with unlicensed releases.

The free application I am talking about is called ThemePSP v1.2, which should only be used on a PSP running on 1.5 firmware. If you do not know your PSP’s firmware version or, indeed, what “firmware” even means, then I do not recommend using this application, since your portable player could very well end up a brick. But if you feel comfortable enough to use it, then ThemePSP v1.2 can be used to flash theme packs onto your PSP screen and thus give it new custom backgrounds, font styles, colors, and more.

If you are interested in downloading a copy of this free app for your PSP, I suggest you head over to the QJ.Net Forums, the discussion board for the Quick Jump Network. You may have to register for the forum to access some features, but the registration is free and it only takes a couple of minutes to complete. To find the application, go to the subforum PSP Homebrew Discussion and look for the ThemePSP thread.

The same thread is where you can find many user-submitted theme packs you can download for free to your PSP. The files are not actually on the forum pages. Instead, the thread contains a long list of links to available PSP theme pack files. Not all of these links may be working, and the variety is limited to what others have created and uploaded. But there are still a number of interesting free downloads, especially for those who would like PSP themes centered on games (Legend of Zelda, Mortal Kombat), TV shows (The Simpsons, Prison Break), movies (The Matrix, Spiderman), and hard rock bands (Metallica, Linkin Park). There is also a theme creator available for people who would like to come up with their own PSP themes.

By the way, there is a website called ThemePSP.com that does not seem to have anything to do with the ThemePSP v1.2 mod. The ThemePSP.com is simply a website that offers free downloads of PSP wallpapers in a variety of categories. That is simple and safe enough for anyone to do. Even though ThemePSP v1.2 seems harmless, it does make some modifications to your PSP system. If you are nervous about using it, you can just download a free wallpaper for your PSP.
Did you find tips on free PSP themes useful?

Although Sony only released its PSP (PlayStation Portable) in March of 2005, it has been updated with new accessories on almost a daily basis. The PSP is a small handheld device weighing just over half a pound, but packs the fullest punch for the audio-video enthusiast. Its capabilities include playing back music, movies, television shows, other saved or downloaded video clips, wireless Internet connection, and its primary purpose: video games in a portable system.

All this is available to users anytime of day or night and virtually anywhere. The most recent release accessory announced by Sony is the PSP camera. This comes as a joy to PSP users on the go all around the world looking to complete their micro entertainment center with the ability to not only view picture and videos, but actually take their own pictures and videos with their PSP.
