If you love psp games and stuff, then you’re gonna love this piece of news.
You see, the Electronic Entertainment Expo used to be around every year, but it’s numbers had been declining and fewer people were participating. I guess it’s one of those things which happens. Anyway, it just wasn’t the glittering, flashy spectacle that it used to be in the past. It changed its name to E3 and scaled back a lot in 2007, after 10 years of slow decline from the very top to the rock bottom.
People expected it to regroup and come back even stronger in 2008, but that wasn’t to be. Instead, it pared itself down a lot on the floor show, greatly restricting both the scope of it and the size. Now the show coordinators have decided that they are going to return to the old shows, the blow-out shows, where everything was wild, crazy and larger than life.
There is no doubt that some people will just love it. There is some doubt, though, about what the economy will be like at that point and whether enough people will be able to afford the show to make it into what it used to be and apparently needs to be again in order to stay afloat and competitive.
