Much Anticipated ManHunt Game Finally To Be Released
Years in the making, it looks as if Manhunt 2 will finally be released. The news was confirmed by Rockstar who sent word through the Games Industry website. Fans of the violent PS2 favorite will find the UK release date perfect as it is scheduled to drop this coming Halloween for PSP.
Just last year, the BBFC refused to give the Manhunt sequel a UK rating, pretty much banning the release. After making a few changes and winning an appeal with the Video Appeals Committee, Rockstar got the BBFC ruling overturned, thus enabling Manhunt 2 to hit the shelves.
It has certainly been a long battle for Rockstar who has had plans of releasing the sequel for some time. However, one has to wonder how well the game will be received on the PS2 which is having a difficult time keeping up with its successor. Perhaps Rockstar will leverage a few sells with some brutal advertisements around the 31st to entice blood thirsty gamers.
