PSP 3000 Coming With Firmware v4.20

Gamers can expect many new improvements with Sony’s upcoming PSP 3000. Aside from a slight make-over, a better LCD display and enhanced visuals, the highly anticipated unit will also come with firmware v4.20 built into it.
A significant upgrade from the current firmware, v4.05, v4.20 offers a USB auto-connect option that allows users to automatically switch your portable to USB mode when connected with the cable. It also features a flicker reduction option, a new function that compliments the PSP 3000’s ability to support game play on a television via a composite cable and special adaptor. It has been speculated that the firmware upgrade will eventually be available for PSP 2000 owners as well.
After all the rumors, Sony’s new portable Playstation is finally set to launch across Europe next week. Keep an eye out for it and be sure to put the new and improved firmware to the test.
