Should You Upgrade From PSP-2000 to PSP-3000?

Well, whether you should upgrade from one to the next depends on how much you use the PSP 2000 and whether you need the external microphone that’s offered on the PSP 3000. Also, if you want to play your games hooked up to a regular TV you’ll need the 3000.For most gamers, though, upgrading isn’t really that necessary. The PSP 3000 does the same things as the other version with the exception of the TV hookup and the external microphone, and most of the other changes are cosmetics and don’t do anything for the user experience other than make it a little more pleasing to the eye. The anti-glare screen may be important to some people, but others have said that they never had a problem with their PSP 2000 causing glare, so that’s a personal choice.
Serious gamers will want to upgrade, and those who have the original version of the PSP will see a drastic difference, but should the typical PSP 2000 owner spend the money for the PSP 3000? It’s not really necessary.
